1968 Mini Moke - Greetings from the Philippines

Post by Kingsley » Sun Mar 17, 2013 13:13

Hello all,
I acquired this Moke by chance a couple of months ago. Right now she’s undergoing some TLC with a view to entering into the annual classic car show here in Manila. I will try and send some progress pics before the big day on 18 April.
Cheers,
Kingsley

Isn't it supposed to have glove(?) trays on each side of the central instrument panel?

No not on that day, but it will one day! Then theres the dead flies!
(not that my wiper/wash would remove much of either!).
Presumable not a legal requirement in the Philippines?

Well over here in Oregon they are a requirement... although windshields are not. Go figure!

First time I took my African for a mot the wiper motor was a bit iffy so I just took the screen off.... No windscreen = no wipers needed :) Flies were bloody painful though

Probably the only time not to smile in a Moke.

Edited to add: Thats a very tidy looking Moke. Doesn't seem like it needs anything..... must be a tough crowd at the classic car shows over there.
