Here it is, 10:00 Sunday night and I've only just had chance to get on here!! As things stood last weekend the pitches were all booked up BUT... if you were prepared to forgo the luxury of electric and such they did say they had an overflow field/area. I'm thinking if you were to say you really really wanted to be there and would be happy in that area we could probably sort something out on the day

Word from the campsite confirms that they aren't able to take any more bookings which is a great shame. However, not to be put off by the inconvenience the Pig Pen Love Machine reports that they have booked in at another site some 15 mins away from Cow Close. Details are:-
Akebar Park 01677 450201 a few miles out of Leyburn

Cow Close also suggested some other alternatives but you may have to act quickly as it's bank holiday weekend.
Crackenhouse – in Leyburn 01969 623192
Constable Burton – a few miles out of Leyburn 01677 450428
Lower Wensleydale – ½ mile from Cow Close 01969 623366 (Motorhome and Caravan Club site)

I will definitely be attending this year, and have booked at Temple Farm House. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments on Friday night, I will not be in the vicinity until late morning on Saturday 26th. So nearer the time it would be good to know where everyone will be, in order to join you for lunch. Looking forward to it.

Good news (or grief depending on your point of view) the Harper clan will be in attendance at this little shindig so you'll be able to have a laugh at me trying to get the Big rig in on Friday!!

Ok, so I think I've organised a chip shop visit for Friday evening. It'll save you all having to cook your own teas and with any luck I'll be there in time to guide you all

On Saturday we will be having a run out so you may all partake of the views of Yorkshire during which I've arranged for us to visit stump cross caverns, this will be around lunchtime(ish...if you lot keep moving  ). In order to make things easier for them here is an abbreviated menu list. If you would like to choose from it I'll pass on the orders so they know what's coming

Cold Sandwiches:
Ham
Tuna Mayo
Cheese
Egg Mayo
All served with a side salad garnish and all priced at £4.25.
All come with a choice of either white or brown bread.

Hot Sandwiches:
Bacon £3.30
Sausage £3.95
Bacon and Sausage £5.25

All come with a choice of a white or brown bap.

Finally we have our home cooked chips at £2.50.

See you all Friday

Anyway

Cheers
