How to include a Moke Club Gallery photo in your post

Post by Dean » Sat Nov 03, 2012 22:34

These are the instructions for including photos in The Moke Club Gallery into a post.
Please note that you can now also add photos using the attachment feature found in each post. See viewtopic.php?f=44&t=6423 for more details
Instructions for creating your own gallery album and uploading photos to it can be found HERE
Once you have uploaded a photo, browse to it in the Gallery than click your right mouse button on it.
This brings up the information about the photo including the file location of it (URL). Highlight the URL and copy and paste it in to the message compose box. Once the URL is in your post, highlight it and click on the Img button at the top of the compose box. Click Submit and you're done.
I'll include some screen shots shortly.

Here's how you do it in Firefox

In Internet Explorer

In Chrome, it is similar to Firefox but you select "Copy Image URL" from the popup menu and paste that in to your post.

Hi Dean, I can't seem to access the link to the information on how to upload a photo and I've been having difficulties uploading images. I've created a gallery on the Moke site but don't seem to be able to add my images to it.

Please could you advise.

Thank you.

Hi John,
The link above was out of date so I have now edited it and it now works.

Hi,

Due to the problems with Photobuckets updated terms I need to start using the gallery on here. Having followed the instructions I keep getting this error message

'Error
No file was uploaded!
If you have really selected a file to upload, check that the server allows file uploads... '

Could anyone advise on where I'm going wrong on this?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,
It may have just been a server blip, can you try uploading again and let me know what happens.
If it does the same thing, can you please email me the photo you tried to upload and I will investigate further.
I will PM my email address to you.
Cheers,
Dean
