I am really enjoying following this thread.

Really admire all the effort and hard work going into it.

While I sit here as an armchair viewer my Moke needs the pads replacing.
Having a moking good time!

Thanks Doug, I know that I really enjoy watching other build threads as well, they give me motivation and that's why I've kept this reasonably updated.
Its not all smooth sailing though, as we all know.
I am hoping to complete the wiring today.
When I punched a hole in the radiator hose for the electric fan sender, I've split the other side somehow   A new silicon top radiator hose should arrive tomorrow.
A mix up with a supplier of a HIF44 carbie where they sent a RH instead of a left hand( or visa versa, i'm so confused about them  ) meant it needed to be returned and I'm waiting for that to get back here. I could use my HS4 if I need to, but I'm holding off for now.
Better head out there and get started :D
Cheers everyone

Hi all,
Well yesterday was my first drive :D
Everything went well, and the new donuts are settling a bit. I'll give it a few days and adjust it up
A few little things to follow up on today like the brake switch is a bit hit and miss and steering wheel to center so the blinkers turn off automatically.
The hood will go on and the heater will be fitted next week. Hopefully thats it for now.

A bit like me after the Mrs saw how much it cost, Black and Blue all over :D
Not really, SWMBO has been very supportive with a few little "extras" along the way.
On the Aussie Moke Forum I have added more detail of the build if you want to read about some of the mechanical tweeks and set up of things. 8). Need to go to page 9 or so for the last 12 months of this build though.

No expert by any means, so much knowledge is spread out over these forums. I just like playing with my Mokes

Hi,
Had a bit of a play today and modified linkages on a HIF44 and fitted it.
Some heater hoses fitted as well. Almost done now :D
